Artist Jeff Morrow calls his style painterly realism. Though rooted in the classic tradition, his style is contemporary in spirit. He strives to create paintings that convey a sense of the moment and that bring out the beauty in everyday scenes.
Influenced by master artists of the 19th century and the best of today’s masters, Morrow is a full-time artist since 2006. He primarily focuses on portraiture, still life, sporting art and urban scenes.
Morrow gained an aesthetic education during his 28-year career as a commercial photographer and video producer.
He resides in the Cincinnati area and is a member of The Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America, The American Academy of Equine Art and is a Signature Member of the Cincinnati Art Club.
The artist’s work has won numerous national awards and has been featured in several national art magazines.
